Today, March 30, 2008, we were invited to perform at the McDonald's Champion Kids function. It was a sports event where kids were competing for a grand prize, to go to Beijing to witness the Olympics!
Before we were out performing at the Bukit Jalil Sports School, we spend time practising and also taking photos. While waiting, we had a special visitor, Ronald McDonald. He chatted with a few of our members and in fact spotted someone who did not had his target badge! OK, so how come Ronald knew about the missing target badge? Could Ronald be a BB member before becoming full-time with McDonalds? Well, only Ronald knows and perhaps when we meet again the next time, we got to ask him! Can you imagine, Ronald in the BB uniform?
Anyway, we came on at about 11am and it was a very sunny Sunday morning. The kids followed the band as we marched in and onto the tracks. Oh, Ronald was with the kids too. We played a few songs and at the end of it all, we all had free flow of Milo and a cheque which will help finance our band. Thanks to all you guys who sacrificed your weekend to be in the band.
